Zoe-perry
Perry is the daughter of actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. One of her first TV appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the role. She was not allowed to start acting with her parents till she reached an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the strain it might create. Perry she was timid to perform in the high school, started to act at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry, after graduating from Boston University moved in New York in search of television roles. She landed small parts on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness brought her back to California for theater roles. The Other Place was performed by her mother and her on Broadway in 2013. The show was directed by Eugene O'Neill. Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie as well as Kevin McKidd. This was staged in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's crime thriller The Family. Her father played her on The ABC Drama Scandal. The actress was also featured on her role on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mother. She got the part in an audition that was open despite being a fan of the character.
