Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actor best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. She also released her first album, titled It's Time to Tina that same year. Her first appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre which was a 1958 film. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next role that she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up with in 1964. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently Tapping has also emerged as a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
