Taylor Momsen is an American model, actress and singer who hails from St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's song has appeared in films and television shows that include How to Be a Single and the show Going the Mile. Taylor Momsen was born on the 26th of July 1993. She has a younger sister Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. Taylor Momsen was a student at the Center of Creative Arts, St. Louis. In an advertisement for Shake 'n Bake national advertisement in 1997, Momsen was the first acting professionally at the age of was three. Momsen's acting career came to an abrupt halt during a span that lasted three years. She then received the part of the principal role in Misconceptions in the series Misconceptions on WB. Momsen also appeared involved in the film Saving Shiloh in 2006. In addition, she was among the top three candidates for Hannah Montana's title role. However, Miley Cyrus was awarded the title role.
