Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian musician and singer. She has released over 20 albums. DiFranco's music is classified as alternative rock, folk rock, but it also has hints from jazz and hip-hop. Ani DiFranco is frequently regarded as the feminist's icon, and Grammy award-winning musician is thought to be the pioneer in DIY music. It was one of the first musicians to launch her own label in the year 1990. DiFranco's parents, Elizabeth (Ross), a previous student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each the other when they were each attending.
